Skip Hop MOBY BATH TUB
The objective of this project was to create a new bath tub with the question of how can we design a bath tub that can improve the experience of both the baby and parent while allowing the product to be accessible? The “Moby spout cover” was an already cherished product from Skip Hop and represented the brand in the bath category. Our team had the intention to create a bath tub that can represent this well established character in the most appropriate way.
Initially our team identified areas within the category that has been successful with users and decided to learn more from our own user research. We conducted in-home research with 5 different families in various living situations and covered the process of their baby bathing experience and insights around the products they use for to make this process better.
Our process involves the Skip Hop design process which is a practice of bridging the connection between thoughtful solutions with pleasant designs for both the infant and parent.
