This particular project started with the idea of creating a soother with a unique value and feature that would be differentiated from other existing competitors. At the time, home decor became an important trend to focus and we decided to make a statement that baby products can still function great with an aesthetic that doesn't stand out as an obnoxious button heavy device that benefits the baby.
The Owl was the perfect choice of animal to become a loving sweet companion that can help the baby fall asleep and be soothed. With careful thought and design, the Owl body and form has been taken full advantage of to create functionality through out.
Buttons hidden away in the back, night light located on the belly, main speakers housed with soft fabric textured wings, and a starry night projector right on top of the head.
